Faculty Spotlight: David Spiro
David Spiro, MD, MPH joined us in 2006 as our new Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He came from Yale University where he served as Medical Director of PALS and Director of the Pediatrics Clerkship, Physician
Associate Program.
In the past two years, David has been a maverick
in raising the Pediatric Emergency Medicine services
and education at OHSU to a new level of excellence.
Along with Assistant Chief Garth Meckler, he was recognized
in Portland Monthly's "TOP DOCS '08" issue as one of the
best in Emergency Medicine/ Critical Pediatrics.
