ACLS and BLS-HCP CoursesThe Department of Emergency Medicine offers ACLS and BLS-HCP certification and recertification courses for professional clinical staff. Initial certification in ACLS is offered through a two day classroom course. Initial certification in BLS-HCP is offered through a one day classroom course. There are two ways to renew your ACLS and BLS-HCP certifications. A traditional one day classroom course or a combination self-directed learning and monitored skills exam course.
If you are a OHSU employee and your department is paying for the course, you'll need to download the Interdepartmental Registration Form , fill it out, have the Fiscal Authority of your department fill out the correct billing codes, sign it, and return to George Olson at mail code: CDW-EM.
