ACLS and BLS-HCP Courses

The Department of Emergency Medicine offers ACLS and BLS-HCP certification and recertification courses for professional clinical staff. Initial certification in ACLS is offered through a two day classroom course. Initial certification in BLS-HCP is offered through a one day classroom course. There are two ways to renew your ACLS and BLS-HCP certifications. A traditional one day classroom course or a combination self-directed learning and monitored skills exam course.

If you are a OHSU employee and your department is paying for the course, you'll need to download the Registration Form, fill it out, have the Fiscal Authority of your department fill out the correct billing codes, sign it, and return to George Olson at mail code: CDW-EM.  For more information, please visit the registration page.
