OHSU Dept. of Emergency Medicine Fellowship

Overview

The Center for Policy and Research in Emergency Medicine (CPR-EM) at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) has a threefold mission:
  • to enhance the research activities of the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM);
  • to partner with policy-makers, locally, state-wide and nationally, in identifying areas in which high-quality research can contribute to health policy issues;
  • to increase the contribution of DEM faculty to health policy issues facing our community, our state and our nation.

The CPR-EM’s intellectual resources include five core faculty members with diverse backgrounds in medicine, public health, epidemiology, economics, and biostatistics and with an established track record in health services research and grant writing. Research staff contribute skills in informatics, database management, primary data collection, project administration, and IRB issues. More information about the CPR-EM can be found at our website: Center for Policy and Research In Emergency Medicine
