Is there a USMLE cutoff score to apply to your program?
There is not a cut off, but typically we match with applicants with 200+ on USMLE

How many attempts are allowed to pass USMLE?
Prefer pass on first attempt, but special circumstances considered.

Do I have to have Step 2 of USMLE complete before applying?
Not for application process, but required as part of appointment.

Is training in the US essential?
A rotation or experience in the US is essential.

How long since graduation do you accept medical students into your residency program?
We prefer that you have graduated within 5 years from medical school.

How many FMG/IMG’s do you have in your program?
Currently we have 3 FMG/IMGs in our program.

What types of Visas do you offer?
H1B and J1.

How many vacant positions do you have?
For 2009-2010, there will be 10 available positions through the match.

How do you submit an application?
Our program only accepts applications through the ERAS Match located at www.nrmp.org

Do you accept COMLEX scores for DO candidates?
We do accept COMLEX scores, but prefer you also take the USMLE to help better compare you with the larger applicant pool of MD candidates.

How many people get interviews?
In 2008-2009, we had just over 750 applications, and approximately 100 people interviewed at our program.
