Emergency Medicine International Fellowship program at OHSU

Application

OHSU will review interested applicants via internet application and follow-up oral interview. Only applicants who have completed medical school and possess strong English-language skills and effective interpersonal skills will be eligible for an entering EMI Fellowship position. The number of EMI fellowship positions made available each year will vary based on length of fellowship desired. Note that continuation of the International Fellow in the EMI Fellowship for the full agreed upon study duration is contingent upon the trainee achieving satisfactory progress in the program, as monitored by the Emergency Medicine Residency Director and assigned EMI Fellowship director.

The OHSU Department of Emergency Medicine and its training programs (residency and specialty training in toxicology, education and global health) are outlined in detail on the department's Internet web site. The 3-year Emergency Medicine residency program currently accepts 10 entering first-year residents per year.
