Global Health Fellowship OverviewThe increasing trend of globalization in all areas, including medicine, gives physicians the ability to be involved worldwide in healthcare, and this fellowship is an opportunity to contribute to this growth. Examples of Emergency Medicine involvement include: reciprocal overseas training programs and infrastructure development, research focused on public health interventions as well as foci of disease, and provision of further education for physicians.
Mentorship
The Fellowship director will assist the fellow in gaining an understanding of the roles of NGOs, GOs, private foundations, and academic centers in the establishment and maintenance of a successful international program.
