Overview

1. OHSU has developed an EMI Observational Fellowship Training Program designed to provide academic training and clinical exposure for future international Emergency Medicine leaders.
2. Individuals accepted into the Program (“Fellows”) will receive clinical exposure and didactic training related to Emergency Medicine.
3. In addition to participating in a formal Emergency Medicine educational program, the Fellows will receive training in Emergency Department (ED) administration, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) systems, and medical toxicology. They will also be exposed to the active research programs within the DEM
4. The EMI fellowship will enhance diversity within the OHSU Department of Emergency Medicine and will foster the international development of Emergency Medicine.
